Outreach Rescue’s purpose-built facilities in Llanllechid, near Bangor, North Wales and Raglan, South Wales, offer realistic environments for training. In Snowdonia, the rugged terrain and waterways provide the perfect setting for challenging scenarios, including river navigation and cliff rescues. Delegates often train with vehicles arranged to simulate real-world incidents. In Raglan, the facility includes a purpose-built tower specifically for GWO training, ensuring that participants gain hands-on experience in a controlled yet practical setting.
Powered Boat for Rescue Response is a course that prepares emergency personnel for operating rescue boats in challenging water conditions such as rivers, lakes, and floods. The course covers boat handling, casualty recovery, risk assessments, and search techniques, providing essential hands-on training. Delivered in partnership with Sea Training International, this course can also contribute to a Diploma in Specialist Rescue.
Bariatric Rescue and Recovery tackles the challenges of safely transporting bariatric casualties.
