Outreach Rescue recently hosted senior personnel from the Hong Kong Government Flying Service (HKGFS) at our Llanllechid training facility in the United Kingdom.
The visit, which took place in October 2024, marked a significant milestone in our longstanding partnership, reinforcing our shared commitment to excellence in search and rescue training, paramedic education, and technical rescue operations.
A Partnership Built on Safety and Expertise
For years, HKGFS has trusted Outreach Rescue to deliver specialist training for their paramedics and technical flight crew. As a critical service provider in helicopter search and rescue, emergency medical response, firefighting, and disaster management, HKGFS relies on cutting-edge training to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Their visit to the UK was a valuable opportunity to explore new ways to enhance their capabilities. The delegation toured our purpose-built training facilities in Llanllechid, Bangor, and engaged with UK Government clients to exchange insights on shared challenges and objectives.
Expanding Training Services for HKGFS
Discussions with our senior leadership, including Director Ian Jones, paved the way for expanded services tailored to the specific needs of HKGFS. These include:
- Comprehensive audits of strategic, tactical, and operational flight capabilities
- Delivery of advanced and specialist paramedic training programs
- Enhanced education in safe work at height and technical rescue techniques
These new services aim to build on HKGFS’s existing strengths while preparing them for the evolving demands of their critical missions.
A Shared Vision for Safeguarding
Reflecting on the partnership, Ian Jones stated: “We’re very proud to provide training to the Hong Kong Government Flying Service. It is a fantastic organisation, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to support their vital work safeguarding communities.”
This strengthened partnership underscores Outreach Rescue’s position as a global leader in rescue training solutions, committed to empowering emergency services and first responders worldwide.
