Follow these clear and straightforward directions to reach Outreach Rescue safely. Please note: satellite navigation systems may not provide the most accurate route.
Use these driving instructions below for the best approach.
Approach via A55 (Coast Road)
- Exit the A55 at Bangor / Betws-Y-Coed, Junction 11.
- Follow the A5 towards Betws-Y-Coed for 2 miles.
- Turn LEFT at the crossroads, signed for Rachub.
- From the crossroads, proceed uphill for 1 mile.
- In the village center, turn LEFT, passing the Royal Oak pub (on the right) and the Post Office (on the left).
- After approximately 200 meters, reach Llanllechid village (playing field on your right) and carry straight on.
- When you see the RED phone box on your right, turn RIGHT and then immediately RIGHT again onto a single-track road.
- Continue for 200 meters; as the road markings bear sharp right, do NOT turn right. Instead, continue straight along the track.
- After 100 meters, you will arrive at the Outreach Rescue site. Please report to staff on arrival.

Approach via A5
- After leaving the village of Bethesda, continue for 1/2 mile.
- Turn RIGHT at the crossroads, signed for Rachub.
- Follow the steps from point 4 of the A55 directions above.
