There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Participants must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
Re-qualification required within three years. Opportunities include advanced first aid courses or sector-specific qualifications.

– Managing wounds, fractures, and bleeding.
– Performing secondary surveys and casualty assessments.
A practical one-day course providing essential skills to handle workplace emergency first aid situations, aligned with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
A two-day refresher course for qualified first aiders to renew and update essential first aid skills.
A practical one-day course providing skills and knowledge to administer emergency oxygen safely and effectively in first aid scenarios.
This module equips participants with essential first aid skills to manage emergencies, provide life-saving assistance, and minimise injuries in wind turbine environments.
