Experienced Mod 3-certified Water Rescue Technicians aiming to become instructors.

Comprehensive coverage of training delivery, safety, and scenario-based instruction.
Aligns with DEFRA Mod 3 and NFCC Rescue Boat Code standards.
DEFRA Mod 3 Instructor and NFCC Rescue Boat Code Mod 3 Instructor standards.
In-date DEFRA Mod 3 compliant award, Advanced First Aid Award compliant with DEFRA Con-Ops Annex F, operational knowledge of operating as a Water Rescue Technician, working knowledge of DEFRA Flood Rescue Concept of Operations.
Age 18+. Operational fitness, proficiency in Mod 3 skills, and aptitude for water training.
Recertification is required within 2 years. This module satisfies ‘Specialist Rescue Instructor (5087EXQ)’ towards a Diploma in Specialist Rescue (50 credits).
