Description
A one-day instructor course that equips trainers to deliver in-house Tower Rescue training for colleagues working on industrial masts and towers.
The Tower Rescue "Train the Trainer" Instructor course prepares personnel tasked with instructing others in performing safe rescues from industrial towers and masts. Participants will learn essential rescue techniques, equipment inspection, and compliance with Working at Height Regulations. The course covers the setup, maintenance, and use of tower rescue equipment, alongside casualty handling and suspension trauma management. Practical and teaching assessments are included to ensure trainers are competent and confident to deliver effective in-house tower rescue training.

Previous knowledge

Delegates must hold a valid and in-date Tower Rescue certification.

Requirements

Aged 18+. Delegates must be medically fit, and able to complete practical assessments.

Progression

Annual refresher training is required to maintain trainer certification.
