Description
Practical training in the use of RESQ Smartline X for emergency rescue and evacuation, ensuring compliance with EN 341:2011 standards.
This one-day practical course provides essential training in the operation of RESQ Smartline X personal evacuation device. Participants will learn to safely use the system for controlled descents during emergencies from heights up to 200 metres. The course also covers rescue scenarios involving incapacitated individuals. Delivered by experienced instructors, the training ensures competency in using this lightweight, compact device, including anchoring, descent control, and system maintenance. A valid Basic Rescue at Heights certification is required to attend.
Compliance

Aligned with EN 341:2011 and PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

Previous knowledge

Experience operating manual descenders / personal evacuation devices would also be beneficial.

Requirements

Participants must be aged 18+ and be able to provide a valid recognised Basic Rescue at Heights certification. They should also be physically able to work at height and use rescue equipment.

Progression

Advanced height safety and rescue courses, including those involving other height rescue systems.
