Description
Comprehensive safety training for wind industry personnel, covering essential first aid, manual handling, fire awareness, working at heights, and sea survival skills, based on Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards.
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) provides wind industry personnel with the fundamental skills to safely perform job functions in high-risk environments. Covering five essential modules — First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights, and Sea Survival — this training prepares participants to identify and control hazards, respond to emergencies, and use safety equipment confidently. Combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, each module is designed to meet industry standards, ensuring participants gain critical skills for offshore and onshore environments.

Requirements
Candidates are required to be fit and able to complete all aspects of training. Suitable PPE for practical modules will be provided by Outreach Rescue.
