Description
This 3-day recertification course provides refresher and update training for existing Rope Rescue Operators and re-establishes competence in the Rope Rescue Operator skillsets.
The Safe Work at Height & Rope Rescue Operator Recertification course provides an update and refresher training for existing Rope Rescue Operators. Any changes to best practice are covered, including the introduction of new equipment that is adopted within Rope Rescue. The training covers the basics of Rope Rescue Operator skillsets and is then largely scenario-based with scenarios selected to best represent challenges that delegates have faced in operation, with learning points and updates drawn from these scenarios. This is a physically demanding course, with a lot of time spent in rope systems. Successful delegates will have their competence re-established and their practice brought in line with current best practices, enabling them to continue operating as a Rope Rescue Operator.
