GWO Training
GWO courses previously provided by ‘Safety Technology Ltd’ are now delivered by Outreach Rescue.
Outreach Rescue offer a range of Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certified courses to professionals who work in the Wind Industry. GWO courses are delivered within our training facility in Raglan, Monmouthshire.
All courses are available to delegates training for the first time and for participants who require GWO Refresher training.
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)
GWO BST training will enable participants to support and care for themselves and others working in the industry by possessing the knowledge and skills of first aid, working at heights, manual handling, fire awareness, sea survival and in case of an emergency, to be able to evacuate, rescue and provide appropriate first aid to casualties. The following modules can be delivered independently of one another or as stand-alone training.
GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART)
GWO ART modules will enable participants to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a Wind Turbine Generator, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height. Upon completion of the GWO Advanced Rescue training (ART) participants will be able to access and rescue an injured person from the hub and the nacelle, tower, and basement section of a wind turbine.
