This course is designed to meet the requirements set out by DEFRA for Advanced First Aid and also awards candidates a FREC 3. It combines technical water rescue with associated casualty management, from point of wounding, through initial rescue, treatment, extraction and handover to ambulance. With candidates cutting dry suits, real time medical interjects and using a high function mannequin.
