ROPE RESCUE SUPERVISOR
(INCLUDING SAFE WORK AT HEIGHT)
The Rope Rescue supervisor course enables personnel who already have a full range of basic skills to advance to a position where they CAN set up and supervise rope systems to solve a wide variety of rope rescues.
Students will have the opportunity to work on roof tops, steel structures and confined spaces as well as natural environments, with all the different risks and problems these present. They will develop a sound understanding of the loading and forces encountered in rescue rigging and ways of maximising the efficiency of access and recovery systems. The course is assessed by a written paper and practical exercises throughout the five days.
