Description
A one-day instructor course designed to prepare trainers to deliver in-house MEWP Evacuation training for colleagues using the Abtech Safety MEWP Rescue Kit.
The MEWP "Train the Trainer" Instructor course equips Industrial and Utility personnel with the knowledge and skills to instruct colleagues in emergency rescues from Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP). Participants will learn the setup, inspection, and operation of the Abtech Safety MEWP Rescue Kit, alongside relevant HSE and Safe Working At Height (SWAH) legislation. The course includes a practical assessment and a teaching demonstration, ensuring trainers are confident in delivering safe, effective MEWP rescue training.
Compliance

Working at Height Regulations 2005, HSE guidance for MEWP safety.

Previous knowledge

Experience in MEWP operations or prior MEWP Evacuation training is recommended.

Requirements

Aged 18+. Delegates should be medically fit, and physically able to complete practical assessments.

Progression

An annual refresher is required to maintain "Train the Trainer" Instructor status.
